The bank marked its anniversary on 30 March with a gala celebration in Belgrade's „Impulse Hall“. The celebration followed the concept of an imaginary "Raiffeisen City", representing Raiffeisen banka’s activities during the first 10 years. The venue contained specially designed stands with six activities which, in cooperation with Raiffeisen banka, achieved the greatest success in their respective fields – theatre, film, galleries, music, sports and activities concerning children. Guests were able to interactively get in touch with events that were created with the support of Raiffeisen banka, and also could win gifts related to the particular stands (such as theatre tickets, DVDs and badges specially designed by the Belgrade Ozone Gallery).

More than 2,000 guests attended the celebration. In the formal part of the programme, the guests were addressed by CEO Oliver Roegl, RBI CEO Herbert Stepic, as well as Dejan Šoškić, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia. On behalf of Raiffeisen banka, Mr. Stepic handed over a cheque in the amount of €100,000 to the Secretariate for Child Protection of the City of Belgrade, intended for the construction of the first Inclusive Service Centre in Serbia. This is a day care centre for children with developmental problems, where they can be placed during the day in a safe environment suited to their needs. Thanks to the centre, many parents are relieved of the need to take care of their child around the clock, which usually prevents them from going to work and earning a living. This big donation is a result of Raiffeisen banka’s wish to mark its anniversary by a large charity campaign as part of the „Teleton“ project, realized for the fourth time in cooperation with Radio Television of Serbia and the People’s Office of the President of the Republic of Serbia.
