The waterpolo club Partizan Raiffeisen won the seventh European Champion title in waterpolo with a sure victory over the Italian ”Pro Recom”. A gala reception was held on occasion of celebrating this fabulous success on Saturday, June 11. The hosts, waterpolo club Partizan Raiffeisen and the club’s main sponsor, Raiffeisen banka, welcomed numerous dignitaries, sports people and celebrities.

Among the many friends of the club and waterpolo fans, special guests were Boris Tadić, President of the Republic of Serbia, Dragan Djilas, the Belgrade Mayor and Snežana Samardžić Marković, Minister of Sports and Youth.

As a long-time sponsor and, above all, a big friend of the club, Raiffeisen banka had been at the side of Partizan all these years and always believed in its strength to realize the biggest sports goals. Zoran Petrović, Deputy Chairman of the Managing Board, addressed the guests in the name of Raiffeisen banka, stating that the common values shared by these two institutions – rich tradition and the spirit of leadership, were additionally strengthened by this great title and confirmed in the best possible manner.

The club’s chairman, renowned waterpolo player Aleksandar Šoštar, handed in the plaquettes to all those deserving meritfor the greatsuccess of our club waterpoloand the celebration was finished with spectacular fireworks that lit up the whole area and rounded off this extremely successful season of Partizan Raiffeisen in the most beautiful way.
