Raiffeisen banka a.d. Beograd is one of the leading banks in Serbia according to all the most important criteria. It began its business activities in Serbia as the first domestic bank in full foreign ownership.
The bank is a member of Raiffeisen Bank International, one of the largest banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe.
As a universal bank, Raiffeisen offers to its clients a comprehensive range of banking services in accordance with Western service standards, whilst understanding the specifics and possibilities of the local banking market. Today, the bank develops its activities in three most important business segments: corporate, retail, treasury & investment banking.
On May 3, 2023 the bank sucessfully completed the legal and operative merger with RBA banka, which began by the acquisition of 100 per cent of shares of this bank (the former Crédit Agricole Srbija) in April 2022.
The integrated bank’s network includes 81 branch offices in Serbia, with more than 2,250 employees, while the equity at the end of April 2023, after the merger, amounts to more than 600 million euros.
Proof of Raiffeisen banka’s success are also numerous awards the bank has been receiving repeatedly from the very beginning of its business operations, from renowned international financial magazines, such as: Euromoney, The Banker, Global Finance and EMEA Finance. The bank has also received the prestigious “Best Digital Bank” award from Finance Central Europe magazine.
