Currency list

The middle exchange rate of a currency is determined by the National Bank of Serbia based on the exchange rates achieved on the domestic interbank market. It is published every day and is valid from 8 a.m. until 8 a.m. when the next exchange rate list is published. The rates from the NBS list are applied for accounting and statistical purposes, as well as for calculating customs duties and other import charges according to the Law on Foreign Exchange Operations.

The buying rate is what you look at when you wish to exchange a foreign currency for dinars, meaning this is how many dinars you will receive for selling one euro, dollar, franc, or another currency to the bank. In other words, the bank purchases foreign currency from clients at the buying rate.

The selling rate shows the value you obtain when you wish to buy one euro, dollar, franc, or another currency with the local currency, dinars. Simply put, this is how many dinars the client needs to pay to buy one euro, dollar, franc, or another currency. The bank sells foreign currencies to clients at the selling rate.
