Using Public Wi-Fi Networks

If you need to use a public Wi-Fi network, make sure to take the following steps:  

- When accessing online banking, choose “One-time password login” as the login method. Generate the password on your mobile device using the “Moja mBanka” app. This way, even if someone obtainsthe password, it cannot be used for re-login. 

- When connecting to a Wi-Fi network, select it as a public Wi-Fi “Public” network, not “Home” or “Office.” 

- Find out the exact name of the guest network at your location (company, hotel, restaurant, etc.). Confirm the correct access parameters and do not connect just because the network name is the same or similar to that of the company/hotel/restaurant.  

- Disable file and resource sharing on your device. 

- Turn off Wi-Fi access when you are not using it.
