Using Payment Cards

In case of loss or theft of your card, call +381113202100 or 0800-111-000, available around the clock, 24/7.

Never write down your PIN or keep it together with your card.

If you suspect someone has learned your card’s PIN or CVV code, immediately contact the bank’s Contact Center or the nearest branch.

When paying with your card at points of sale, it is advisable to cover the keypad with your hand to conceal your PIN entry for added privacy.

Keep in mind that your PIN can be observed not only by people nearby but also recorded by cameras if the payment location has video surveillance.

Enter your PIN personally on the POS terminal and never disclose it to a third party, even if the merchant asks you to.

If the merchant asks you to enter the PIN yourself at the terminal, do so instead of revealing the PIN to the merchant.

Do not allow the person processing the payment to take your card out of your sight. If you hand your card to someone else during payment (e.g., a cashier or waiter), be cautious if they “accidentally” drop the card, as this is an opportunity to read it unnoticed.

When making contactless payments, make sure you bring the card yourself to the terminal for reading, do not give it to the merchant. Activate the service for receiving transaction notifications so you get alerts when your card is used.

If you have any doubts about how your payment card is being handled, call the bank’s Contact Center to consult about possible blocking or card replacement.

When withdrawing cash from ATMs, pay attention to the ATM’s appearance.

If you notice unusual devices or damage on the ATM, report it to branch staff or call the bank’s Contact Center. Always remember to retrieve your card after the transaction or take your cash if you make a withdrawal.
